Hands-On Coaching Workshops
Real practice sessions where you work directly with coaching tools, role-play scenarios, and build actual skills you can apply immediately. No theory marathons—just practical experience that builds confidence.
Workshop Sessions Available
Each workshop runs for 3-4 hours with small groups of 8-12 participants. You'll spend most of your time practicing techniques rather than listening to presentations. These aren't lecture-style webinars—they're working sessions.
Active Listening Lab
Practice different listening techniques through recorded conversations, live partner exercises, and feedback sessions. You'll work with actual client scenarios and learn to catch subtle emotional cues that most people miss.
- Partner practice with immediate feedback
- Audio analysis of real coaching sessions
- Techniques for managing your own reactions
- Recognition of client communication patterns
Question Architecture Workshop
Build your toolkit of effective questions through hands-on practice. You'll work with volunteer participants, practice different questioning sequences, and learn when specific types of questions actually help versus hinder progress.
- Live practice with real scenarios
- Question timing and sequence building
- Avoiding leading or manipulative questions
- Cultural sensitivity in questioning styles
Difficult Conversation Navigation
Role-play challenging coaching situations including resistance, emotional outbursts, and clients who seem stuck. Practice staying grounded while helping others work through tough moments without taking on their stress.
- De-escalation techniques you can actually use
- Managing your own emotional responses
- When to refer clients to other professionals
- Setting boundaries that actually stick
Workshop Timeline & Progression
Most participants find value in taking workshops in sequence, but each session stands alone. You can join any workshop that matches your current experience level.
Foundation Skills Setup
Before jumping into specific techniques, we spend time on the basics that many people skip: how to create psychological safety, recognizing your own biases, and understanding what coaching actually is versus therapy or mentoring.
Core Skill Development
The main workshop series where you practice listening, questioning, and conversation management. These sessions include plenty of awkward moments and mistakes—that's how you learn what actually works in real situations.
Advanced Application
Working with complex situations, cultural considerations, and your own areas of growth. By this point, you'll have enough experience to recognize patterns and adapt your approach based on what you've learned about yourself and others.
